It has been awhile since I posted anything here and I apologize to the readers for that. Life has had it’s moments to be sure. After a year of living in the southern US, I find myself again in the freezing, god forsaken North Eastern US. I vowed I would never come back here…………

See what happens when you make statements about things before you know all the details. Yeah, I know. Ducks and baskets and all that. This would not have been an issue at all if it where not for the economy. Mr. Bush I hope you are reading this because I have you to thank for all of it. What had been a lucrative job market is now a extremely depressed economy full of unemployed people all competing for the same few jobs.

I am not spouting this from news I read online, the neighbor’s complaining or the co-worker in the lunch room (I would need to have a job for this last one anyway). I am living it. I had to move my family to a relatives home 1000 miles from home to make ends meet.

The southeast is in terrible shape. Fewer jobs mean higher crime. Don’t believe me? They stole my stereo out of my Jeep park 3 feet from my front door, broke in the house while we where home and there was a shoot out in the parking lot next door. No I am not kidding.

My hope is that the economy may start to rebound after the election but I am not convinced that it will. With court order child support, a 2 year old to feed and diaper, and a chronic illness (Type 1 Diabetes) I am getting very, very concerned. I can only hope the people in the highest offices in this country are as well and will do the right thing to help this country recover.

I guess only time will tell though right?
